Hahei Escapes – a place where one escapes for relaxation, happiness & adventures.

For us, looking after holiday homes is about more than just keeping things tidy and organised.

We go above and beyond to help our visitors feel right at home and cared for.

From chocolates on the bed, flowers on the table and handwritten welcome notes to immediate support when the unexpected happens – our priority is our guests’ experience.

We work closely with local tourism companies and help our guests to create lasting memories in Te Whanganui-A-Hei.

We do the hard work, while house owners and our guests kick back and relax.

					This house is perfect! So clean. Beds comfortable. Love the open layout—can see the views from kitchen dining room living room bedroom. Even a lovely reading nook! Easy access to cathedral cove trail and hahei beach. Mostly the host is very responsive and respectful. Brought by requested sensitive soap within the hour. Loved our escape. 					We stayed for a week in an Air B&B at Hahei with Tina as the host. Communications before our stay were excellent but Tina gets a 5 Star rating from us when we found we had developed a slow leak in one of our car tyres. As with many modern cars, we had no spare tyre. I tried a portable compressor I was carrying but it not only failed but resulted in further loss of pressure.
Although Hahei has gas pumps in the village, that installation does not have a compressor. I rang Tina simply to find out if she knew where in Hahei I could get hold of a portable compressor. Within 15 minutes she rang back to say she had one and was on her way! She showed up with a hand-held Makita battery-powered (cordless) portable compressor. We had the tyre back up to pressure in no time. We were able to use the compressor again at the end of our stay just before we left for home. We got home without further trouble. All good.

She got us into a house that was well priced, very clean and well appointed to accommodate our two families. 					Like so many others here, I cannot say enough good things about Hahei Escapes or, more accurately, Tina... what a legend! My wife and I picked this place (Dulop) because it looked like the perfect start to our NZ adventure (all the way from the UK): modern, cosy, stylish, great location, and VERY well equipped. Boy did we make the right call, it 100% matched the online listing, which isn't always the case. I've stayed in tons of places over the years, seen the good bad and ugly. Dulop, and Hahei (Tina), are right up there (in the good camp!). It's a long way from the UK but if/when we return, I'll be messaging Tina 🙂  - 2025-11-01

					We stayed in a lovely holiday home in Cathedral Court in Hahei using Hahei Escapes. The property was very spacious, spotless, comfortable and with all necessary amenities. The outdoor deck and lawn were very generous and perfect for the kids to play when relaxing at the property. The village shops and restaurants were a 2 minute walk and not much further to the large sandy beach. Short drive to Cools Beach and Hot Water Beach. Tina was very attentive and helpful throughout.
